History and Future of Perk's Auto Care

For decades, the location of Perk’s Auto Care has been known for its trusted establishments in the field of automotive repair. In the early 1980’s, the Harvey family owned and operated the shop called “Almond Farm and Home”. In 1988, the property was then sold to John and Cindy Flint. Together with a lot of hard work they built “Flints Auto Center.” Today it has once again changed hands, and hopes to continue the trend.

At Perk’s Auto care, we’re proud to be a Technet Professional Center and we’re happy to service all makes and models.

Shawn Perkins

Owner | Lead Mechanic

Graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix AZ. After graduating, he came home to where he was raised in Alfred Station. He started working for John Flint in 2006 and bought the business in 2017.

Johnny Diaz (AKA Rico)

Mechanic

He actually was a part of the team after he graduated from BOCES automotive and then left to pursue being a barber because many of his family members are barbers. He rejoined our team in December 2018 and his favorite part of being a mechanic is the continuous cycle of learning new things since cars are ever changing!
